PrismBI integrates in three layers:

Connectivity model

• Edge Agents run inside your network and initiate outbound-only HTTPS to BI Core.
• Database credentials stay on the edge; BI Core never receives raw warehouse passwords from browser users.
• The Admin Portal talks only to BI Core—not directly to databases or agents.

Getting started

1. Deploy an Edge Agent ( Quickstart ).
2. Create datasources for your primary warehouses.
3. Optionally add MCP connections and S3/SMTP integrations.
